Compact Disc Player (CD): Testing and Inspection
Error MessagesThe digital audio compact disc player has heat-protection circuitry to protect the laser diode. If the temperature of the digital audio compact disc player reaches 60°C (140°F), the heat detection circuit will shut off the player and "Too Hot" will appear in the display. When the temperature is within normal operating range the digital audio compact disc player will again be operational.
