DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLYBolt Removal:
1. Remove bolts retaining pump assembly to main control valve body and separate valve body from pump assembly.
MAIN CONTROL VALVE BODY
Disassembly
1. Place main control valve body on bench with valve body separator plate up, and remove two Torx bolts retaining valve body separator plate to main control valve body.
2. Remove and discard separator plate with bonded gasket.
Valve Body Check Balls, Relief Valves, And Filter:
3. Remove six check balls, two relief valves and two filters. Clean filters.
4. The individual valves and springs are removed by removing retaining clips and bore plugs. Refer to the illustrations for valve and spring locations. Clean valves, springs and main control valve body.
Inspect main regulator boost valve and sleeve for wear. Replace valve and sleeve if worn.
CAUTION: Most valves are aluminum and cannot be removed using a magnet. Remove valves by tapping valve body on palm of hand to slide valves out of bores. It may be necessary to remove valves and springs using a pick. If it is necessary to use a pick, use extreme caution to prevent damaging valves or valve bores.
Assembly
1. Assemble valves and springs into main control valve body.
Valve Body Check Balls, Relief Valves, And Filter:
2. Install check balls, relief valves and filters.
3. Replace valve body separator plate with bonded gasket on main control valve body.
4. Install Valve Body Guide Pin 307-S165 (T86P-70100-A) as shown. Install two Torx bolts in main control valve body and tighten to 9-12 Nm (80-106 in lb). Remove alignment pins.
