DISASSEMBLY
1. Remove overdrive servo piston return spring.

Servo Band Piston:

2. Remove overdrive piston seal and rod assembly from servo cover.
3. Remove overdrive servo piston.

NOTE: Piston seal and rod is an assembly. If seal is damaged, replace the piston seal and rod assembly.

4. Remove servo cover seal.

ASSEMBLY
1. Install front piston rod retaining clip on overdrive servo rod.
2. Install overdrive servo retainer and spring, piston and washer.
3. Compress assembly and install rear piston rod retaining clip.
4. Lubricate piston seal with petroleum jelly.
5. Install servo cover seal.





6. Install piston, seal and rod assembly into servo cover.
