Radiator Hoses (Upper)

REMOVAL
1. Remove battery.
2. Drain engine cooling system.
3. Compress clamp tangs and disconnect upper radiator hose from radiator.
4. Compress clamp tangs and remove upper radiator hose from the water hose connection.

INSTALLATION





1. Position the clamps at least 3.2 mm (0.125 inch) from each end of the hose. Coat the connection areas with an approved water-resistant sealer.

CAUTION: Make sure the clamps are beyond the radiator tank connector bead and placed in the center of the clamping surface of the connections.

2. Compress clamp tangs and install upper radiator hose onto the water hose connection on.
3. Compress clamp tangs and install upper radiator hose onto radiator.
4. Fill and bleed engine cooling system.
5. Install battery.
