Front






REMOVAL
1. Remove seat and track assembly from vehicle.
2. Remove front seat cushion side shields. Remove bolts retaining seat back to front seat back latch. Place seat back assembly on a protective surface.
3. Remove front seat back head restraint.
4. Remove front seat back panel from rear of seat back.
5. Disengage four J-retainers from front seat back frame.
6. Pull front seat back cover up the back (inside out), exposing hog rings.
7. Cut wires retaining hog rings. Remove front seat back cover. Remove retaining wires from their listings.
8. Remove front seat back, if necessary.

INSTALLATION
1. Install front seat head rest guide rod retainers, one for each front seat head rest guide rod sleeve.
2. Install front seat back, if removed.
3. Position front seat back cover over front seat back. Work front seat back cover down until horizontal tie down wire is aligned with its retaining wire in front seat back. Install tie down wire in the listing. Secure tie down wire to front seat back with hog rings.
4. Position remaining portion of front seat back cover to front seat back.
5. Install four J-retainers onto front seat back frame.
6. Install front seat back head restraint.
7. Install seat back assembly to front seat back latch. Tighten retaining bolts to 44-60 N.m (33-44 Lb-Ft).
8. Install seat and track assembly. Tighten seat track-to-floorpan bolts to 19-26 N.m (14-19 Lb-Ft), inboard nut to 68-92 N.m (51-67 Lb-Ft) and outboard nut to 19-26 N.m (14-19 Lb-Ft).
9. Check front seat tracks for proper operation.
10. Check the restraint system for proper operation.
