Intermediate Halfshaft

DISASSEMBLY
1. Remove the intermediate shaft assembly.





2. Disconnect the right-hand front axle driveshaft from the intermediate shaft.
1 Clamp the intermediate shaft.
2 Remove the driveshaft joint from the snap-ring seat using a brass drift.


ASSEMBLY





1. Install the intermediate shaft.

NOTE: Use a new snap-ring.

1 Install a new snap-ring.
- Grease the splines. High-durability grease ESP-MIC207-A
2 Drive on the intermediate shaft by tapping it lightly (copper hammer) until the snap-ring engages.
2. Install the intermediate shaft assembly.
