Removal

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the accessory drive belt.





3. Disconnect the power steering line and the hose from the power steering pump.
1 Detach the tube retaining bracket.
2 Disconnect the power steering high-pressure tube and drain the fluid into a suitable container.
3 Disconnect the power steering hose.





4. Support the engine.





5. Remove the engine mount bracket.
1 Unclip the ignition wire clamp.
2 Remove the retaining nuts.

6. Drain the cooling system.





7. Remove the coolant expansion tank.
1 Disconnect the three coolant hoses and drain the coolant into a suitable container.
2 Remove the retaining bolts.
3 Disconnect the electrical connector.





8. Remove the engine mount.
^ Remove the bolts.

9. Remove the accessory drive belt.





10. Remove the power steering pump pulley.
1 Hold the center of the pulley with an Allen wrench.
2 Remove the four retaining bolts.





11. Disconnect the power steering pump retaining plate.
1 Remove the pump pipe bracket retaining boll
2 Remove the retaining plate nuts.
3 Remove the retaining plate bolts.





12. Remove the power steering pump.
1 Remove the pump retaining bolts.
2 Remove the retaining plate.
3 Remove the pump.





13. Disconnect the power steering line.
