Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the exhaust gas recirculation valve.







2. Disconnect the idle air control valve electrical connector.







3. Detach the idle air control valve wiring harness from the stud.







4. Remove the idle air control valve.
- Remove the two nuts.

INSTALLATION







1. Install a new idle air control valve gasket.







2. To install the idle air control valve, reverse the removal procedure.
