Oil Cooler: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Drain the engine coolant.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.





3. Remove the lower radiator shroud.
1 Remove the push pins.
2 Remove the bolts.
3 Remove the shroud.





4. Drain the engine oil.





5. Remove the oil filter.





6. Disconnect the oil cooler lines.





7. Remove the oil cooler insert and remove the oil cooler.

INSTALLATION








1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE:
- Use a new oil drain plug gasket to prevent leaks.
- Prior to installation, apply WSE-M2C908-A engine oil to the oil cooler gasket, oil cooler insert O-ring, and oil filter gasket.
