With Rear Disc Brakes

REMOVAL
1. Release the parking brake.
2. Loosen the wheel nuts.
3. Raise and support the vehicle.

CAUTION: Support the exhaust pipe.

4. Detach the exhaust pipe from its hangers.





5. Remove the rear section of the exhaust system heat shield.





6. Remove the center section of the exhaust system heat shield.





7. Detach the rear cables from the equalizer.
8. Remove the wheel.





9. Detach the rear cable from the caliper.
1 Pull back the caliper lever.
2 Detach the cable from the caliper lever.
3 Detach the conduit retaining clip.
4 Detach the cable and conduit.





10. Remove the rear cable from the body clips.

INSTALLATION
1. To set the preload of the parking brake control self-adjust mechanism, lift the parking brake control lever to the fully raised position.





2. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
