DISASSEMBLY





1. Disconnect the angle lever.
- Remove the snap-ring.

NOTE: Installation position of the spring.





2. Disassemble the angle lever.
1 Plastic bearing
2 Angle lever
3 Spring
4 Shim





3. Remove the bearing housing with the washer, reverse gear interlock mechanism and bearing shell.





4. Press the gear lever out of the bearing housing and remove the rubber mounting.





5. Disconnect the bearing shell.





6. Bend the retaining tabs back and remove the retainers with the threaded pins.

NOTE: Only if the threaded pins are damaged.

ASSEMBLY
1. To install reverse the removal procedure.
