Pump Insert Check

1. Install the oil pump drive shaft into the torque converter.





2. Install a torque wrench with a 5/16 alien head socket attached on the oil pump drive shaft.





3. Verify that the insert can hold of torque.
4. If the insert cannot hold the specified torque, replace the torque converter.
