End Play Check

Special Tools:

Special Tools:

1. Insert End Play Checking Tool and End Play Checking Tool Sleeve in the turbine.
2. Tighten the center collet of the tool.





3. Attach Dial indicator with Bracketry to the tool. Position the indicator button on the converter housing and set the dial face at zero.

NOTE: Dial indicator must be between the ridges of the torque converter.





4. Pull up on the tool and observe the dial indicator reading.
5. If the end play exceeds specification, replace the torque converter.
