Heated Glass Element Switch: Testing and Inspection

73 Digital Multimeter:

SPECIAL TOOL(S)

1. Remove the rear window heater switch.
2. Measure the resistance between pin 1 and pin 2 of switch while operating the switch.
3. Resistance should be less than 5 ohms when the switch is in the ON position and greater than 10,000 ohms when in the OFF position.
4. If the resistances are not as specified, REPLACE the rear window heater switch.
