A/C Pressure Cut-Off Switch

REMOVAL







1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Reclaim the refrigerant.







3. Remove the coolant recovery tank bolts and position the tank aside.

NOTE: Do not drain the coolant system or disconnect any hoses.







4. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the air conditioning system high pressure switch.

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE:
^ Replace the O-rings and coat them with refrigerant oil.
^ When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 miles) or more to relearn the strategy.
