Hazard Warning Switch: Description and Operation

The multi-function switch, located on the left-hand side of the steering column, controls the following:
^ Hazard/Flasher lamps
^ Turn signal lamps.
^ Headlamp high beam.
^ Headlamp flash feature.

The hazard flasher system is an integral part of the multi-function switch. The system operates independently from the ignition switch. The flasher indicator system is deactivated when the hazard flasher system is ON.
