Engine Mount: Adjustments

REMOVAL





1. Remove the air cleaner.
1 Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose.
2 Disconnect the air cleaner inlet tube.
3 Unhook the rubber ring and take it out.





2. Install the 3-Bar Engine Support.
- Remove the weight of the engine from the engine support insulators.





3. Remove the bolts and position the coolant recovery tank out of the way.





4. Remove the bolts and remove the front engine support insulators.

INSTALLATION





1, Loosen the bolts on the rear engine mount.
- Only vehicles with CD4E transmission.





2. Loosen the bolts on the rear engine mount.
- Only vehicles with MTX 75 transmission.





3. Loosen the bolts of the right-hand engine roll restrictor
- Only vehicles with MTX 75 transmission.

1 Loosen the bolts on the transmission mounting bracket.
2 Loosen the bolts on the subframe mounting bracket.





4. Loosen the bolt of the right-hand engine roll restrictor.
- Only vehicles with CD4E transmission.





5. Remove the left-hand engine roll restrictor.





6. Install the Powertrain Alignment Tool in the place of the left-hand engine roll restrictor.

CAUTION: Do not distort or turn the engine mounting.




7. Tighten the rear engine mounting bracket.
- Only vehicles with CD4E transmission.



CAUTION: Do not distort or turn the engine mounting.





8. Tighten the rear engine mounting bracket.
- Only vehicles with MTX 75 transmission.

CAUTION: Do not distort or turn the engine mounting.





9. Install and tighten the front engine support insulator.





10. Remove 3-Bar Engine Support.





11. Tighten the bolt of the right-hand engine roll restrictor.
- Only vehicles with CD4E transmission.





12. Tighten the bolts of the right-hand engine roll restrictor.
1 Tighten the bolt on the subframe mount in bracket.
2 Tighten the bolts on the transmission mounting bracket.

- Only vehicles with MTX 75 transmission.





13. Remove the Powertrain Alignment Tool.
1 Remove the bolt.
2 Remove the Powertrain Alignment Tool from the subframe.

CAUTION: Do not tilt the engine roll restrictor.





14. Install the left-hand engine roll restrictor.
1 Install the engine roll restrictor to sub-frame bolts.
2 Install the bolt.





15. Position and Install the coolant recovery tank.





16. Install the air cleaner.
1 Press the air cleaner into the rubber bushings and hook the rubber ring in place.
2 Connect the air cleaner inlet tube.
3 Connect the crankcase ventilation hose.
