Valve Cover: Service and Repair

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect the oil feed sensor connector.





2. Remove the crankcase ventilation tube.





3. Remove the appearance cover.
1 Position the throttle cable out of the way, and the speed control cable if equipped.
2 Remove the eight bolts.
3 Remove the appearance cover.





4. Remove the spark plug wires.





5. Position the upper front cover out of the way.
1 Remove the four bolts.
2 Position the front cover out of the way.





6. Remove the valve cover.
1 Position the throttle cable out of the way, and the speed control cable if equipped.
2 Remove the nine bolts.
3 Remove the valve cover.

INSTALLATION













1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
