Roof Opening Panel Frame

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

NOTE: Make sure the sliding roof is in the closed position.

2. Remove the headliner.







3. Disconnect the drain tubes.







4. Disconnect the sliding roof motor electrical connector.







5. Remove the 12 retaining bolts.







6. Remove the sliding roof opening panel frame.
^ With the aid of another technician to support the sliding roof, compress the legs of the four retaining clips and lower the sliding roof cassette

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

CAUTION: Ensure the sliding roof opening panel frame is correctly aligned in the roof aperture before tightening the 12 retaining bolts in the sequence shown.

NOTE: Inspect the weatherstrip, Install a new weatherstrip if necessary.
