New Key (45 Minute Procedure)

1. Insert the unprogrammed key into the ignition and turn to the RUN position.

NOTE: Before starting this procedure, make sure the key(s) to be programmed have the correct mechanical cut.

2. Wait for the THEFT light to prove out (2 seconds) and then it flashes rapidly.
3. After 15 minutes of flashes repeatedly, the theft light will stop flashing.
4. Within 5 minuets of flashing, after the light has stopped flashing, turn the ignition key off and then back to RUN.
5. Wait for the THEFT light to prove out (2 seconds) and then flashes rapidly.
6. After 15 minutes of flashing, the theft light will stop flashing.
7. Within 5 minutes after the light has stopped flashing, turn the ignition key off and back to RUN.
8. After 15 minuets of flashing, the theft light will stop flashing.
9. All originally programmed keys are now erased, and the key in the ignition is now programmed.
10. Wait for the THEFT light to prove out (2 seconds).
11. Additional keys may be programmed using Key Programming-Spare Key procedure.
