Flywheel Gear: Testing and Inspection

INSPECT





Inspect the flywheel (6375) for:
- Any (A) cracks.
- Worn (B) ring gear teeth
- Chipped or cracked (C) ring gear teeth.

RUNOUT





Use Radial Runout Gauge 007-0056A or equivalent to inspect the flywheel ring gear runout.
- Set the gauge on the flywheel ring gear surface and turn the flywheel to measure runout.

Maximum runout: 0.64 mm (0.025 inch).
