Spindle: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the wheel hub.





2. If equipped with disc brakes, remove the four bolts and remove the rear wheel disc brake shield.
3. If equipped with drum brakes, remove the brake backing plate.





4. Remove the anti-lock brake system (ABS) sensor bracket bolt, if equipped.





5. Remove the two lower shock absorber nuts and bolts.





6. Remove the bolt and remove the rear brake anti-lock sensor, if equipped.





7. Remove the rear suspension trailing link bolt.





8. Remove the rear suspension arm and bushing rear (A) nut and (B) bolt and remove the rear wheel spindle.




















INSTALLATION
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
