Installation

1. Lubricate and install new O-ring seals.
2. Position the power steering pressure hose in the vehicle.
3. Install the power steering pressure hose in the middle and lower power steering hose clamps.





4. Install the lower power steering hose retaining bracket.





5. Connect the power steering pressure switch electrical connector.
6. Install the fuel charging wiring support bracket.





7. Connect the two fuel charging wiring electrical connectors.





8. Install the (B) power steering pressure hose in the upper clamp and secure with the (A) screw.





9. Install the power steering pressure hose and the two clamps.
10. Raise and support the vehicle.





11. Install the power steering pressure hose to the power steering pump.

NOTE: Ensure that the threads are clean of debris before installation of the hose.





12. Install the power steering pressure hose to the steering gear.
13. Install a new strap to secure the power steering hoses to the steering gear housing.
14. Lower the vehicle.





15. Connect the battery ground cable.
16. Add Mercon(R) Power Steering Fluid or equivalent.
