Temperature Sensor (Gauge): Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the two LH splash shield bolts.
4. Partially drain the radiator.
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Disconnect the water temperature indicator sender unit electrical connector.
7. Remove the water temperature indicator sender unit (10884).

INSTALLATION
^ To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Tighten sensor to 17-24 Nm (13-17 ft. lbs.).
^ Fill the radiator with the specified coolant mixture.
^ Check for coolant leaks.
