Wagon

REMOVAL

1. Remove the rear seat bottom.

2. Remove the rear side seat.

3. Remove the luggage compartment cover.

4. Place the rear seat back in the down position.






5. Remove the seven push pins and the luggage compartment rear cover.






6. Remove the four push pins and the quarter trim panel.






7. Use Safety Belt Bolt Bit T77L-2100-A to remove the rear safety belt lower anchor bolt.






8. Carefully pry the upper safety belt guide cover open.






9. Use Safety Belt Bolt Bit T77L-2l00-A to remove the rear safety belt upper guide bolt.






10. Remove the roof side inner rear moulding.






11. Remove both roof side rear trim covers.






12. Remove the three bolts and the quarter trim panel bracket.






13. Remove the rear safety belt retractor bolts.

INSTALLATION

To install, reverse the removal procedure and torque to specification.

NOTE:
- Make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted prior to installation.
- Ensure that the plastic bezel located on the rear package tray is secure after installing the rear safety belt and that the rear safety belt does not bind or catch on it.
- Ensure that after the rear safety belt retractor is installed, the retractor is not stuck in the Automatic Locking Retractor (ALR) mode.
- Perform the Function Test Procedure to ensure that the new retractor operates properly.
