Test Notes

Normal Operation
Each radiator primary crash front air bag sensor has three wires. Two of the wires are used for the air bag module deployment and monitoring the sensor's connection to the air bag diagnostic monitor. The other wire is used for monitoring the mounting (ground) of the radiator primary crash front air bag sensor bracket to sheet metal. If diagnosis reveals that both radiator primary crash front air bag sensors are not connected and the radiator primary crash front air bag sensors are not properly grounded, the air bag diagnostic monitor will flash the air bag warning indicator continuously at a fast rate.

Possible Causes
Rapid continuous flashing of the air bag warning indicator is caused by all radiator primary crash front air bag sensors are disconnected from the wiring harness or the main wiring harness is not connected with the engine compartment wiring harness.
