Passenger's Side

REMOVAL






1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

WARNING: The backup power supply energy must be depleted before any air bag component service is performed. To deplete the backup power supply energy, disconnect the battery ground cable and wait one minute.






2. Push in on the glove compartment door tabs and position downward.






3. Remove the two hinge to instrument panel screws and remove the glove compartment door.






4. Remove the four passenger side air bag module bolts.






5. Pull the passenger side air bag module out of the instrument panel, and disconnect the passenger side air bag module electrical connector.






6. Remove the passenger side air bag module.

INSTALLATION






To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: Verify that the air bag indicator is operative.
