Power Steering Pressure Switch: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
NOTE: When battery voltage is removed from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM), all learned values will be cleared and reset to predetermined values. When battery voltage is restored to the PCM, the vehicle may exhibit certain driveability concerns. It will be necessary to drive the vehicle to allow the PCM to relearn values for optimum driveablilty and performance.
2. Disconnect the two fuel charging wiring electrical connectors.
3. Remove the (A) bolt and position the (B) fuel charge wiring support bracket aside.
4. Disconnect the Power Steering Pressure (PSP) switch electrical connector.
5. Remove the PSP switch.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedures.
7. Connect the battery ground cable.
