Fuel Filler Hose: Service and Repair

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

WARNING: Refer to Service Precautions before beginning procedures.





1. Remove the fuel tank filler cap tether screw and remove the two fuel filler neck retainer screws.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.






3. Remove the LH rear wheel and tire assembly.
1 Remove the (A) lugnuts.
2 Remove the (B) LH rear wheel and tire assembly.






4. Remove the fuel tank filler pipe shield screws and remove the fuel tank filler pipe shield.






5. Remove the fuel tank filler pipe bolt.






6. Loosen the clamps at the (A) fuel line hose and at the (B) relief discharge vent and disconnect the hoses.
7. Remove the fuel tank filler pipe.

NOTE: Tighten the lugnuts in the specified sequence.









8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
