Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The fuel vapor canister stores fuel vapors from the fuel tank until the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) cycles the canister purge valve to allow vapors to flow into the intake manifold for combustion.
