Module Communication Wire Repair
Special Tool
1. Strip the wires to two different lengths.
2. Prepare to solder the wires.
1. Install the shrink wrap.
2. Twist the wires together.
3. Solder the wires together.
NOTE: Use Resin Core Mildly Activated (RMA) solder not acid core solder.
3. Bend the wire with the longer exposed end back in a straight line.
NOTE: Wait for the solder to cool before moving the wires.
4. Position the (A) shrink wrap over the (B) wire repair.
^ Overlap the shrink wrap over the insulation on both wires.
5. Use Heat Gun 107-R0300 or equivalent to heat the shrink wrap until wax comes out both ends.
