Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

1. Verify the customer concern.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage.

Mechanical
^ Damaged engine lubricating system.
^ Low engine oil level.
^ Liftgate adjustment.
^ Damaged speedometer drive gear.
^ Damaged speedometer driven gear.

Electrical
^ Blown fuse:
- 10A METER.
- 15A METER (wagons only).
- 10A ROOM.
^ Damaged miniature bulb.
^ Damaged wiring harness.
^ Loose or corroded connections.
^ Damaged vehicle speed sensor.
^ Damaged instrument cluster.
