Service Port HVAC: Description and Operation

The high-pressure service gauge port valve is located on the front condenser to evaporator tube.





The low-pressure service gauge port valve is located on the A/C manifold and tube.





Special couplings are required for both the high side and low side service gauge ports.
^ R-134a Low Side Quick Disconnect 176-R0036 or equivalent.
^ R-134a High Side Quick Disconnect 176-R0037 or equivalent.
^ Always install the A/C charging valve cap on the service gauge port valves after repairing the refrigerant system.
