Compressor Fitting HVAC: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Discharge and recover the refrigerant from the system. Discharging and Recovery
2. Disconnect the A/C manifold and tube spring lock coupling.
CAUTION: Plug all ports to prevent contamination from dirt or moisture.
3. Disconnect the A/C manifold and tube spring lock coupling.
CAUTION: Plug all ports to prevent contamination from dirt or moisture.
4. Remove the A/C manifold and tube bracket bolt.
5. Remove the A/C manifold and tube bracket bolt and the A/C line clip.
6. Raise and support the vehicle.
7. Remove the A/C manifold and tube bolt.
CAUTION: Plug all ports to prevent contamination from dirt or moisture.
8. Detach the A/C manifold and tube from the A/C manifold and tube support clip and remove the tube.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Leak test the A/C system.
