Specifications and Limits
Specifications show the expected minimum or maximum condition. If a component fails to meet the specifications, it is necessary to replace or refinish. If the component can be refinished, wear limits are provided as an aid to making a decision. Any component that fails to meet specifications and cannot be refinished must be replaced.





NOTE: Camshaft journals must be within specifications before checking runout.

^ Use Dial Indicator With Bracketry TOOL-4201-C to measure the camshaft runout.
^ Rotate the camshaft and subtract the lowest dial indicator reading from the highest dial indicator reading.
Maximum Runout: 0.127 mm (0.005 inch).
