Shifter A/T: Testing and Inspection

1. Make sure there is a click at each range when shifted from PARK to LOW.

NOTE: Ignition switch must be in RUN and brake pedal applied or transaxle range selector lever cannot be moved from PARK.

2. Check that positions of transaxle range selector lever and transmission range indicator are aligned. If not, adjust the shift control linkage.
3. Check that shift lever release buttons returns smoothly after being pushed in.
