Anti-Theft

CAUTION:
^ Make sure the key is held square to the lug nut. If the key is on an angle, it may damage the key and the anti-theft lug nut. DO NOT use a power impact wrench on the wheel hub bolt nut key.
^ DO NOT use a power impact wrench on the lug nut key.

Remove or install the anti-theft lug nut as follows:
1. Insert the key into the slot of the lug nut.
2. Place the wheel lug nut wrench on the key.
3. While applying pressure on the key, remove or install the lug nut.
4. The key has a circular keyway that is matched to the female slot in the anti-theft lug nut. When locking wheels are reinstalled, tighten to 115-142 Nm (85-104 ft. lbs.).
