Parking Brake Warning Switch: Service and Repair

Park Brake Cable To Lever:

REMOVAL
- Disconnect wire from switch.
- Remove screw that retains switch assembly to parking brake control.
- Remove switch from parking brake control.

INSTALLATION
- Install switch to parking brake control.
- Install screw that retains switch assembly to parking brake control.
- Connect wire to switch.

CHECK OPERATION
- Check to make sure parking brake warning lamp goes on prior to 50 mm (2.0 inches) of pedal travel and off when parking brake control is fully released.
