Brake Fluid Level Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

- A brake fluid level sensor is part of the brake master cylinder reservoir. It snaps into a slot on the bottom of the brake fluid reservoir.
- It may be serviced separately from the brake master cylinder reservoir.
- Remove the switch by pushing on the retaining tabs in a direction toward the electrical connector end.
- On anti-lock brake (ABS) equipped vehicles the brake fluid level switch is part of the reservoir cap.
