Throttle Cable Bracket

REMOVAL
1. Remove accelerator control splash shield as described.
2. Unwind cable core wire from pulley and slide end fitting out of slot on pulley.
3. If equipped, remove speed control actuator cable from throttle body control lever by sliding cable end up off pin. Remove screw retaining accelerator cable to accelerator cable bracket.
4. If equipped, remove screw retaining speed control actuator cable to accelerator cable bracket.
5. Remove bolts retaining accelerator cable bracket to throttle body.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten screws retaining accelerator cable bracket to throttle body to 8-10 Nm (71-88 lb in). Tighten screws retaining accelerator cable and speed control actuator cable (if equipped) to 5-7 Nm (45-62 lb in). Tighten screws retaining accelerator control splash shield to accelerator cable bracket to 5-7 Nm (45-62 lb in).
