Runout

1. Inspect the camshaft runout by setting the No.1 and No.4 journals on V-blocks.
2. Install Dial Indicator with Bracketry TOOL-4201-C or equivalent and zero gauge.
3. Rotate the camshaft and note readings.
4. If the maximum runout of the camshaft is not within specifications replace the camshaft.
Limit: 0.127 mm (0.005 inch).
