NOTE: This procedure diagnosis a SPONGY BRAKE PEDAL WITH/WITHOUT ANTI-LOCK FUNCTION (NO WARNING INDICATOR)

G1- CHECK COMPONENT MOUNTING
- Check for proper brake pedal and power brake booster/brake master cylinder attachment.
- Bleed Brake system. Service and Repair
- Is brake pedal spongy?
YES - Go to G2.
NO - No problem found.

G2- BLEED BRAKE SYSTEM
- Re-bleed brake system.
- Is brake pedal spongy?
YES - Replace brake master cylinder.
NO - Condition corrected.
