Arm/Disarm Switch: Testing and Inspection

Door Disarm Switch Component Test
1. Using Rotunda Digital Volt-Ohmmeter 014-00407 or equivalent. Measure door disarm switch resistance with key removed from the door lock cylinder.
2. The resistance should be more than 25,000 ohms. If not, replace the door disarm switch.
3. Measure the door disarm switch resistance with the key fully rotated to the end of travel in the unlock direction.
4. The resistance should be less than 200 ohms. If not, replace the door disarm switch.
