Brake Switch - TCC: Testing and Inspection

DESCRIPTION
The BOO (brake on/off) switch is connected to the brake pedal. When the brake pedal is pressed, the BOO switch has closed contacts allowing a voltage signal to the PCM. The PCM releases TCC when the brakes are applied. Symptoms:

SYMPTOMS
^ Failed "ON"-torque converter clutch will not engage at less than one-third throttle.
^ Failed "OFF" or not connected-torque converter clutch will not disengage when brake is applied.
