Parameter Identification/Data Monitor and Record

The PID/Data Monitor and Record Option allows the New Generation Star (NGS) Tester 007-00500 or equivalent operator to read the state of several Parameter IDs (PIDs) to aid service personnel in diagnosing the system.

Supported PIDs and Their Update Frequencies:

PIDs are real time measurements of parameters such as voltages, resistances, etc., calculated by the air bag diagnostic monitor and sent to the NGS Tester 007-00500 or equivalent for display. Many of the PIDs supported by the air bag diagnostic monitor are calculated periodically and are therefore not true real time readings.
