Front Crankshaft Seal: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove accessory drive crankshaft pulley and crankshaft damper.
2. Using Seal Remover T92C-6700-CH, remove crankshaft front seal from engine front cover.

INSTALLATION
1. Lubricate crankshaft front oil seal sealing surfaces with Engine Assembly Lubricant D9AZ-19579-D or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESR-M99C80-A.
2. Using Crankshaft Seal Replacer/Cover Aligner T88T-6701-A and Crankshaft Damper Replacer T74P-6316-B, install crankshaft front seal into engine front cover.
3. Install crankshaft damper and crankshaft pulley.
