The electronic door lock control system has tour main components:^ remote anti-theft personality module, located underneath instrument panel to the right of the steering column
^ five-button keyless entry keypad on the driver door (optional on GL, GS and Wagon)
^ antenna
^ four-button (hand-held) keyless entry remote transmitter
The door locks are controlled by the remote anti4heft personality module through the use of external relays.
The remote anti-theft personality module also controls the perimeter anti-theft system. For additional information on the perimeter anti-theft system.
The door locks are wired so that the lock and unlock switches on the doors I liftgate can operate the door locks with or without a remote anti-theft personality module installed in the system. The door lock switches are wired directly to the relays that control the door locks.
