Tightening Specifications

Step 1: With rocker arms installed, tighten cylinder head camshaft journal cap bolts in sequence as shown in several passes to 8-12 Nm (71-106 inch lbs.).
Step 2: With cylinder head camshaft journal caps installed and camshafts aligned with the thrust caps, install cylinder head thrust caps and tighten retaining bolts to 8-12 Nm (71-106 inch lbs.).
