Oil Pressure Sender: Service and Repair

REPLACEMENT

NOTE: The oil pressure sensor (9278) is located in the LH side of cylinder block (6010).

1. Disconnect engine control sensor wiring (12A581) from oil pressure sensor.
2. Remove oil pressure sensor from cylinder block.
3. If required, remove oil pressure sensor adapter from cylinder block.
4. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten oil pressure sensor to 12-16 Nm (9-12 ft. lbs.) and tighten oil pressure sensor adapter to 20-30 Nm (15-22 ft. lbs.).
