Manual Transaxle

REMOVAL
1. Raise vehicle on a hoist.
2. Remove the exhaust Y-pipe.

NOTE: In this vehicle, the exhaust Y-pipe must be removed to gain access to the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS).

3. Disconnect VSS electrical connector.
4. Disconnect speedometer cable from vehicle speed sensor.







5. Remove roll pin retaining vehicle speed sensor in transaxle.
6. Remove vehicle speed sensor from transaxle.
7. Remove speedometer driven gear from vehicle speed sensor.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse Removal procedure.
